E-Racing the Blues will be timed by Mid-Atlantic Timing

Utilizing timing chips on your bib, there is no fuss for you to attach a chip on your shoes. Your disposable timing tag will be attached to the back of your race bib.  Do not remove this chip from the bib.  Be sure to wear your bib on the front of your body where it can be seen and not under any layers of clothing and run through the finish arch.  After you have completed the race, walk over to one of the rapid results touch screen kiosks to look up your finish time.

10K run is the statechampionship race as designated by the RRCA

What makes the 5K Competitive Walk different from the 5K Recreational Walk?

Participants in the Competitive Walk are competing for time and must comply with specific rules.  NO RUNNING OR JOGGING IS ALLOWED.  Race monitors will be on the course checking how the competitive walkers comply with the walking only rule.

How will the course monitors know who is a Competitive Walker?

Competitive walkers will have different colored race bibs to help the course monitors identify them.

What happens if a Competitive Walker does run or jog?

Running or jogging will result in the participants’ removal from prize contention.
